GIVEAWAY: Let’s Exercise and Start Hulahoop-ing!

16 December 201327 Comments

I don’t know about you but I’ve always found excuses for NOT exercising.

Like:

If I go to the gym, who’ll look after Brie?

I don’t like running, and even if I ran, who’ll look after Brie?

Not keen on swimming at night (when hubby is back to babysit all three kids)

(The list can go on and on, and gets less and less logical at times)

The thing is, recently I’ve been feeling like I actually NEED TO exercise.

Perhaps, it’s because I’m starting to feel extra ‘flesh-y’ in some particular parts of my body.

(okay, I’ll spell it out: my arms and my stomach area!)

Or perhaps, it’s because I’m aging, and no exercise means ‘the attack of the flabs’ will get more apparent?

Oh well, anyway.

I know deep down it’s just me being too lazy to exercise!

BUT.

I now have no more excuses for NOT exercising, because there’s this solution : hoops!

I can always exercise by doing some hula-hooping at HOME!

And I’m checking out these different hoops from Hulahoop Singapore!

In their own words, this is what they are:

“An online store that sells weighted hula hoop for waistline trimming and abs toning. They are definitely good for busy adults who hardly have time to exercise because they can simply hula hoop anytime & anywhere”

Now, my next challenge is, conquer my laziness, and actually do some hulahooping at home EVERY SINGLE DAY!

Now, GIVEAWAY time!

Thanks to HulaHoopSingapore, these FOUR items will go home with FOUR of you!

  • Great idea – hooping is honestly the best way I have found to keep in great shape and have fun while doing it. Staying at home and doing it while watching the kids is probably the best bit about it.

Would like to win the hula hoop for lazy me.. winning the hula hoop would not be an excuse to not exercise at home!

  • Xgg Chan says:

As a full time working mum, I can’t afford to spend hours in the gym and hula hooping is definitely more interesting than jogging on a threadmill. Hope to win this to roll away my spare tyres!

  • Yenny Lyne says:

I am working mum with three kids. My youngest kid is 17 months, I have no time to exercise. Juggling between work & home. With HulaHoop at home, can also save my time traveling to gym. Hope to win this to get rid of extra fat especially around the tummy.

  • Monika C says:

Hi, your article this time strike close to heart for me. I used to go to gym regularly. BUT after having 2 kids it’s very hard to find time to go even if I really do want to go and back to my exercise regime. I still miss it but I know I have to give up that for now at least until the boys are big enough.
That is why the hulahoop is the perfect solution. I can exercise and at the same time entertain the boys with my lousy hulahoop skills. =D

  • Jaime Chan says:

i used to be very good at hula hoop..but since being a mum simply no time to exercise..i need to lose some post pregnancy weight!

  • Nichol Wong says:

Being 40 and having my 2nd and last baby 2 years ago has seriously disrupted my fitness plan. And mind you, no matter how fit you once were, exercise is an ongoing process that should be incorporated into our daily life. Like many stay at home mums, I have no physical help and have my wings seriously clipped so no luck with gym or pool! And being a weekend warrior will not show results either. The only exercise I could get would be doing household chores which in essence, does not work on strengthening my core muscles which is very important to a multi-tasker like me who frequently need to carry my baby with one arm and holding heavy grocery bags with the other. These hula hoops work GREAT at strengthening my core muscles and body suppleness. Since working out at home is a hobson’s choice, Santa, please grant my wish. I need to be strong for myself and the children. I promise I will work out using all the hoops at least 4 times a week. Thank you.
