Sunday’s Food for Thought : Hand-Picking Three Quotes from Our Everyday Things Facebook Page

14 October 2012No Comment

Here are three food for thoughts that I’d like to share with you today.

(Taken from those that I’ve shared on Our Everyday Things Facebook Page this week)

‎’If you dare to call yourself a father/mother/teacher, please behave and carry out the responsibilities that are according to your ‘title’.

Many today forget about who they are and what they are supposed to do. Do not live in such a way.’

– DR. Stephen Tong

We live in an era where information is available almost instantly and in abundance too.

Question is, How much of that info is of good quality, is absorbed, processed and applied for the good of self AND others?

Is it possible for students to be smarter than the teachers?

Yes.

Is it possible for children to be better (smarter, wiser, etc) than their parents later on in life?
Yes.

It is possible for everyone to be better than others in many aspects in life, except for … suffering.

No one can or will ever suffer ‘more’ than Christ.
(And HE suffered, so that we can be redeemed and have a relationship with our Creator)

– DR. Stephen Tong

Have a blessed Sunday, everyone!
