Having our Family and Newborn Photography Done
We had our family and ‘newborn’ shoot at home today.
The first time we ever had it done for our own family.
(Who says parents ‘always’ do less and less for their subsequent kids in the family? =)
We’re not into the ‘placing the baby in a box’ kinda shot though. Somehow we just don’t feel comfortable about such baby photography approach.
So we go for natural shots of the baby – who is exactly three weeks old today – sleeping on a blanket.
And for the first time, we’ll be having the shots we like in a nice PHOTOBOOK too!
*Excited*
[Will share more about it when they’re done =) ]
…
Anyway.
Towards the end of the session, Brie was still sleeping soundly and so I grabbed our camera and took some shots too, hehe.
I personally like the above shot and the contrast between Brie’s perfect little fingers and Daddy’s hand.
Captured. Treasured.
…
YOU created the deepest parts of my being.
YOU put me together inside my mother’s body.
How YOU made me is amazing and wonderful
I praise YOU for that.
What YOU have done is wonderful.
I know that very well.

How do you get such contrast for the pic you take? You have a studio at home? Really nice shots of your gal..
Hi Sam!
Wilson’s brother did the shots for us. This is his website : http://www.elikonpicture.com He does wedding, engagements and newborn pics!
As for this particular shot (of Brie holding onto Daddy’s finger), … I took the shot =)
(cannot tahan … towards the end, I also took some shots of Brie myself leh … hehe)
Leonny,
Wilson took the pictures? Wonder what should I prepare like props if I prefer to do it at home? Meanwhile I still vote for you everyday, hope you can win:)
Regards,
Sam
Hi Andy!
Hehee … Brie gets hand-me-downs, but she gets more ‘proper’ baby (and pregnancy!) shots done so far haha …
The older ones enjoy different sets of ‘privileges’ during their time (right until today too actually!), so if they happen to ‘complain’ … well, we have something to explain to them hehe … But hey, we’ll keep your advice in mind, definitely!! =)
Hi Ruiting,
Thank you! =)
I took too many photos of my princess, all the boys start revolting and ask for their “versions”. Better tell Wilson don’t repeat my mistake haha. Nice picture 🙂
The photo of the baby is really breathtaking. Congrats on the new life in the family! 😀
