My blog’s top banner : what do you see?
A while ago a friend of mine asked, ‘Why don’t you have a picture or a banner at the top of your blog page?’
I didn’t quite get what he meant and so I asked, ‘What do you mean? There IS a picture of Anya and Vai as my banner at the top of my site.’
And he was like, ‘OH REALLY? I’ve never seen them whenever I visit your blog!’
Oh my.
He uses Internet Explorer 6 (and Windows XP) on his computer and apparently with that ‘browser and Operating System combination’, my banner DISAPPEARS! (yes, I’ve heard about sites that can’t be viewed ‘properly’ in IE 6. And apparently, it’s been happening to my site too all this while)
So now, I’d need your help with something.
Please please do tell me if you too haven’t been seeing my top banner on my blog. I’d like to get a rough idea as to how many readers out there are experiencing the same problem when they come to my site.

i know this is a little late – Yes i can see the banner – i love it – i use Firefox.

Looks like problems occur when IE6 is used together with Windows XP!
Lately I’ve been reading more on IE6 and I found how this version has lots of ‘incompatibility issues’.
If I may suggest, … do consider upgrading IF it is possible for you to do so (or better still, install / use a different one like Mozilla Firefox, as suggested by E and Wilson).

Anyway, regarding the blog header, I don’t see it when I’m using my laptop with IE6.. but with my hubby’s desktop on XP, I can see the blog header.. It’s very nice! 🙂

Anyone with IE6 will be the majority to miss any good stuff around you. Should try to update your Windows using the auto update, at least the service pack to version 2 (XP). OR use firefox all together from Mozilla. You wont regret it. Good luck all.. 🙂

Safari & Firefox for Mac on OS X.. can see..
i’m seeing it on firefox 3.08 & IE7 with XP.
Cannot see on IE ver 6 but able to see on Mozilla Firefox
