Anya : 5th Birthday Get-together @ Sunday School
We had a simple birthday celebration with Anya’s Sunday School friends yesterday.
We had a Ballerina cake for her (the one at the top tier is supposed to be ‘Anya’ hehe), and as our little girl loves purple colour, the birthday cake is all purple too.
[She actually likes dark purple, but of course we wouldn’t want the kids to feel like they’re eating unhealthy slices of ‘ink’! *smile*]

Last year, we gave out little Bible Story books to her friends as ‘birthday souvenirs’. But this year, we thought of giving out something different. Something that her friends can treasure even years later (well, at least the parents will most likely keep them).
And so we gave out PHOTOS!
We brought along our portable Canon Selphy Photo Printer Bucket (the one I won for the Nuffnang Photography Competition). And because of its rather slow printing speed, we took group photos of some of the kids BEFORE their Sunday School classes started, and printed those out first.
Anyway.
It was a nice get-together overall. THANKS everyone for spending those special birthday moments with Anya, for the wishes and for the gifts! Thank you.

Ah, so cute! Your daughter is beautiful and the cake is precious!! We just celebrated our son’s 16th and daughter’s 10th! Birthdays are our family’s biggest celebration. Hope she felt very special on her day.

happy belated bday anya… the cake looks gorgeous…. i wish i have a 2 tier cake for my bday too… and i hope my cake would be pink… i think anya is growing up beautifully… cuz she looks really really angelic **shy** i wasn’t that pretty when i’m young…lol
