Thoughts: Who We Truly Are when We Treat Others
I personally find it interesting to observe other people, … human behaviour in general, I mean.
Like for example, it is interesting to see how some people treat different people differently, depending on their social status and position.
If X is a janitor, then he’d get very little respect and hardly any ‘thank you’.
If Y is a wealthy businessman, then he’d get a bow and a humble handshake.
…
Some say, you get see people for who they really are in how they treat those who are inferior to them in terms of position or social status.
Well. I agree.
And in this respect, I think we ourselves need to do some self reflection, no?
ie. Do WE (unconsciously, may be) treat people differently if they’re perhaps in a more ‘inferior’ position than us?
Food for thought.
