Food for Thought: How do we Measure our Lives?

8 April 2016No Comment

What ‘things’ are considered as ‘important’ in our lives?

What do we pray about?

How do we measure ourselves?

Do we measure ourselves in terms of the size of our home and our bank account, or the size of our heart and how much care we can share with others?

Do we care more about gratification, or more about gratitude?

Do we wonder why people don’t pay enough attention to us, or do we ask ourselves how we can make a difference in other people’s lives?

Do we pray and ask God for more blessings, or do we count the blessings already received and make ourselves a channel of blessings to others?

A note to self, and food for thought for the weekend.
