That’s the bus!

4 September 2005No Comment

I can say that we take public transports very often. And I think the transport system here in Singapore is pretty good and organised!

It’s clean, the bus seats are comfortable, 98% of the buses air-conditioned (in fact, it’s too cold sometimes!). The ez-link system (‘tap and go’ card) allows us to board and get off the bus much faster too.

Earlier today I was browsing through the net, trying to find out some information on bus routes and stuff, as we needed to go somewhere and we’re not familiar with the area.

Everything was basically there on the net. How to get from A to B. Where we can board the buses. How long the journey will be. The fare. The list of bus stops, etc. And although it took me about 10 – 15 minutes to get all the info I needed, I still think it’s great!

Anyway, here’re the links just in case you need them too:

> SBS Transit – buses, LRT, NEL MRT

> SMRT buses (used to be called TIBS)
