Sharing the Good News with Children

28 April 2017No Comment

Some people have always liked little children. They’d happily approach little kiddos they meet on the street, and play with them.

Um. I wasn’t like that.

When I was growing up, I usually played with people my age, or older.

My thoughts on children slowly changed when I was invited to join our Sunday School ministry as a teacher. That was some 18 years ago, back in Singapore.

And I noticed, the more I interacted with little children, the more I learned about how their world, the more I realised how it’s a privilege for me to serve and teach them. And, I learned a lot from teaching them, too. Humbling experience.

(ie. Through positive interaction and exposure, we gain better understanding of something or someone)

Anyway, this is me and some children I shared the good news of Christ with earlier this week. These 4 to 6 year old kids are so cute and curious. I was blessed to have the opportunity to share God’s love with them.

One of many moments God has given to me which I hope to record and remember.

(I always feel teaching kindergarten kids are so much harder than teaching older ones. To all dedicated Kindy teachers wherever you are, kudos to you all!)
