“Thanks” to today’s gadgets, more and more kids tend to say, “I don’t know what I’m good at. I don’t know what I like. I’m not interested in anything actually.” (But somehow they are interested …

Random Shots from My Camera Phone

10 November 20104 Comments

I don’t know about yours, but my mobile phone (Nokia E63) doesn’t produce good quality photos.

I mean, they’re very grainy, and the overall colour is just … dull.

[Which explains why I almost always go out and about with my Canon Powershot S90 with me]

They’re still useful to have as my ’emergency camera and video camera’ though!

Anyway.

I was backing up my camera phone photos earlier today when I saw these shots.

And I just thought of sharing them with you today.

Random precious family moments.

[Colours have been enhanced, but none were cropped]

Top Left: Big biker, small biker.

Top Right: Night time buddies.

Bottom Left: Rollerblading to the market.

Bottom Right: Vai while on an international call with grandma (Yes, he’s upside down on our sofa, HANDSFREE, with our cordless phone strategically placed on his ear!)

Ah, you see.

Photos are still precious regardless of the quality, because they capture THE moment.

(Though of course, having a mobile phone that captures good quality shots will be BETTER, heh)

Mine is E63 too and yupp… I agree with you in terms of the picture quality. But sometimes I forgot to bring the pocket camera with me, the phone is there for taking emergency shots =)

I don’t know if you two are going to agree with me, but with due respect, Little Stitch, let the kid live a little! It’s not as if he’s sleeping like that, and also, his body weight is being supported by the back of the couch.

Sure, it’s not an ideal position to be in, but I don’t think he’s in any danger. If he was doing that on a solid floor, I would agree with you, but leather couches afford childrens biomechanics some grace. I did all that when I was a kid, and worse…

    Little Stitch:

Hi hi … thanks for sharing the info!

That’s the only time he ever did it actually hehe …
Usually we all crowd around the speaker phone 🙂

  • Hi Leonny,

I would like to highlight to you about Vai’s position. Better don’t let him have this habit of putting his ear resting on the phone on shoulder. One of our main artery supplying to the brain is there…if Vai kept compressing on that artery, lesser blood supply to the brain and there will be bad consequences.
