Getting the much-needed Clear Vision
Yes. This is how my glasses’ left lens look like.
Badly scratched. Right in the middle. Uncomfortably ‘blocking’ my vision. Every day for the past one year.
It’s irritating actually, but I had to get used to it since I didn’t plan to get a new pair of frames.
So you can only imagine how happy I was when Essilor Singapore came to me and offered to sponsor their latest Crizal lenses so that I get to experience the much-needed clear vision we all should have.
(read: Lenses that are not prone to scratches, smudges, water, reflections and dust!)
And I was like, ‘Oh, THAT’s just so timely! I BADLY NEED a new pair of glasses and lenses!’
Now, this is the happy me and my new pair of Crizal lenses. Hehe.
LOVE them!
I especially love the fact that I can see everything SO much clearly now!
Yes, WITHOUT the scratches right in front of my eyeball and all! (Thanks to Essilor Singapore!)
Anyway.

You know, I only realise the importance of having good quality lenses recently! I used to always pay more attention to getting good frames than choosing good lenses.
And now I’m curious.
Do YOU pay more attention to frames than to lenses, like I used to?
Do you actually ask for a particular brand of lenses when you go to an Optics Shop?

Hello hello …
Basically the lens can fit any kind of frames 🙂
Just need to bring your current frames, I guess and let the shop take a look?
Hope you don’t sit on them any time soon hehe …
Waaaaa… Does the lens fit any type of frame (including my current frame)??? ^^ I’d like to try it!!! ^^ (Then no need to change frame ^^v)
Hmmm, I dun really care about frame nor lens brand. Whenever I need a replacement I just told the uncle I want lenses with good UV protection and of material that is not easily broken, then for the frame I would ask for the one that is not easily broken and easily repaired when broken (now I know I definitely won’t choose titanium frame since it is hard to repair =P). This is because I am highly careless and tend to sit on, drop, or hit my specs onto something else… ^^v
