Recently I’ve been going through lots of ‘down moments’ with Anya. Things have not been nice and sweet.
But really, when I lay still at night and run through the stuff that’s happened earlier that day, I know I still need to be thankful to God for giving to me, to my family, all the blessings and especially the strengths that we need to be parents to our little ones.

Yes, it’s just a ‘phase’ that Anya’s going through (unfortunately, it’s tough on the parents who have to face the moments too), and Anya sure doesn’t look like she could be THAT difficult. But then again, who couldn’t ya? We’re all sinners …

You know, one thought that somehow helps me each time I think of it (during difficult times handling the kids) is that I know things will be so much more challenging later when my kids are in their TEENAGE years.
By that time, given the option, I’d probably choose to deal with small children’s tantrums than teenage rebellion.

I guess just so happens Anya is rather petite for her age, and her brother is rather big for his age ? 🙂
and oh yes, you can really FEEL the WEIGHT when you carry them huh? 🙂

Vai is a big boy! My isn’t he a handsome dude too! 🙂 Lachie and Vai is about the same height and weight though Lach’s 3 months older. He’s going through a terrificly terrible two-three stage, somedays I just hear myself screaming allday! I think there’re only more challenges ahead… 😛 So much to look forward to huh?

Just had a huge showdown wif jodie this morning too. she refused to put on her crocs and leave the house and we were running late – she from school and me from work. In desperation, I ended up giving her a few smacks on the backside while she wailed away…Not the best way to start the day 🙁 But by the time we reached school, she was smiling happily away n was in fact in quite a good mood. Sigh…think I better try to talk to her when she’s back and hopefully this won’t happen again..
I have the same thought too!!! Perhaps cos our kids are in same age group and the ups & downs that we face are similar?
There are times when I am so frustrated with them and yet I haveto thank God for giving such precious gifts to me. There are people out there who are longing for this gift for not getting one.

anya kaga kliatan spt anak yg bakal kasih bonyoknya hard times. look is deceiving yah…. take heart, mungkin cuma satu phase aja dia lagi nakal. klu udah lewat, dia bakal nurut lagi kok.
