Snow Time @ Tanglin Mall
Now that we’re well into the long-awaited ‘Christmas in Singapore’ period, Tanglin Mall is back again with its annual ‘snow’ sessions!
And we were there with our friends the other day.
Though it can’t beat the feeling of real fun in the snow, we all (ESPECIALLY the kids) were happy with soap suds sprayed all over the place!
Very happy, I must say.
And Vai, who’s experiencing all this for the first time, went to check out the ‘snow-gun’ too. After which he went ‘swimming’ (again) in the sea of foam with Anya!
Anyway.
If you’re looking for a FREE yet fun activity this school holiday, I’d personally recommend going to Tanglin Mall for some ‘snow’ fun!
Here’s more info:
– Weekday session : 7.30pm – 8pm
– Weekend sessions : 7.30pm – 8pm, 8.30pm – 9pm
– Ends on 31 December 2008
– One ‘washing-up’ area is available just outside of McDonald’s
…
Recommended :
– Bring along a towel and spare clothes
– Or (like us), dress the kids in their ‘swimming attire’
…
Really, I’m tempted to bring the kids there again next week!
It was fun!

According to my husband, he felt that the snow gun is dirty. Anyway – I will still bring him there when my husband is free.
Alicia:
Thanks! Yes I’m sure your kids would have a blast there too!! ๐

Ironically, I notice people who actually live in snowy places – or who get access to snow easily – tend to NOT like snow that much … And those who hardly ever see snow will pay so much just to play with snow ๐ Don’t you think so ?
I guess, it’s harder to like snow if it blocks you everyday from leaving the main door and from driving normally on the road ya ? ๐

Christine :
Ya … Tanglin Mall only has it in the evening … Takes ‘longer’ for the snow to melt I guess ๐

At first Vai also just stood there and observed everything. I guess for a little person, the sight of it all is rather overwhelming …
I’m sure Cayden will love it too when he’s warmed up to the idea! ๐
Yesterday I brought Cayden to Tanglin Mall for the “Snow” session. Apparently, he’s not very keen as it’s very new to him. Perharps I will bring him there again to try:p
Oh i didn’t know that – of cos we are not there so… glad the kids enjoyed it – looks like loads of fun ๐
Hey! that’s what I call fun! Only thing is it’s in the evening.
By the way, thanks for your comment on my blog. ๐
Really, I rather have a soap foam as snow than the real snow as my hands get sored after touching the snow and they (my hands) literally stick to the snow just like when someone tried to lick an ice sculpture and their tongues got stuck.
Oh how fun!!!!!! My kids would go CRAZY in there!!!
Great pictures!!!
