Video : Kiddy Rides Fun (again!)
The kids had fun riding their battery-operated mini car and motorbike at Toa Payoh today!
You see, the last time Anya and Vai went there was back in March, earlier this year. Vai was too little to know how to ‘drive’ and so Wilson used a remote control to ‘drive’ his car around! The kids had fun!
And this time round it’s even better for both!
Vai rode his motorbike all by himself around the area! (Towards the end, I took off his shoes to make it easier for him to ‘step’ on the little button that got his bike moving!)
Anyway, click HERE to watch the video!!
…
[INFO]
– There are more than 15 battery-operated cars and motorbikes available at only S$3 per 15-minute ride!
– Different vehicle ‘sizes’ available. Bigger motorbikes and cars can go faster. Vai rode on a small motorbike instead of a car as he found it easier to control, steer and move around.
– The vehicles are all battery-operated (remote control ones available for younger kids!). Vai and Anya happened to hop on ones that needed a change of batteries, and in the end they chose different vehicles!)
– Location : Near Courts and Crystal Jade Bakery at Toa Payoh, near the mall (it’s all outdoors, and they have a designated area for the rides. The ‘alley’ can get quite ‘busy’ with so many little cars and bikes going at the same time)
– As far as I know, the operator is there every Saturdays, Sundays and Eve of Public Holidays.

Hi Jessica!
Thanks heaps for the link! Will sure check it out! ๐
Oh…you I just bought 1 car for my little girl, she loves it so much and daddy loves to bring her out to drive as he can play with the remote control too…at least some free time for me now. Do check out this site for a good deal, they are the direct importers, much cheaper than what you get at stores… http://www.cheekybb.com

Sandra:
Yes, I LOVED these rides too when I was a kid! Used to think why couldn’t they make the vehicles go faster and I used to pester my mom for ‘coins’ too … very bad huh (now that I think about it!)

Some 6 months ago I remember they told me they’re open on weekends, not weekdays. More crowds and profits, I guess?

hehehe … that’s the best they can have for now! ๐
Bakat ‘nyetir’ atau ngga, wah ngga ngerti juga yah … tp gua yakin JL akan bisa nyetir and control the handle in no time! And most likely, by then you’d wish she’d follow you and can’t steer the bike by herself yet! hehe …
emak bapaknya naik go kart. anak2nya naik yg ini yah. hehehe. hebat yah vai udah bisa nyetir. gimana sih ajarinnya, apa itu mungkin bakat naturalnya dia yah? gw bisa muntah darah nih ajarin JL nyetir. dorongin dia naik sepeda kecil yg ada handle-nya utk kita dorong dari belakang itu tuh… tp males banget akhirnya krn tiap bbrp detik sekali, gw kudu ke depan, bungkuk utk lempengin setirannya. krn dia blm bisa nyetir. disuruh lempeng aja, klu ada belokan baru belok ikutin belokan itu, tp blm bisa2 tuh.
gak ada on weekdayss yah?
i remember having fun on those myself when i was little – Tobias had been too little when we went back the last few times – maybe this time we will let him ride one – They have the really big ones here – Bumper Car sized ones – i normally ride with him as it’s difficult to control – so mummy gets to have fun too ๐
oh i wish i knew about this place to bring my boys to when we were in singapore a few months ago. they would have had soooo much fun! Oh well, next time.
